I've been looking for the right role with Bulb for years. That's why I am so thrilled to have found the Sustainability Lead role - an absolute dream come true.

This job is about influence. It's about using data, policy, stakeholder relationships, and culture to tell a compelling story about Bulb's future as a sustainability leader. In fact, it goes beyond Bulb's future; it's about how Bulb blazes the trail for better business, and a better world.

But crafting vision and a competitive sustainability strategy is only half the battle.

How do we ensure internal teams and external partners fully understand the initiatives - what they mean, how to value them, and how they differentiate Bulb? How do we leverage both audiences to drive Net Zero initiatives forward and protect Bulb's B Corp recertification year after year?

The Sustainability Lead must ensure unshakeable alignment through Product/Tech, Marketing, Comms, and all the way through to external partner relations. During my 3 years at Deliveroo, I've seen the consequences of misalignment and siloed work across these critical functions, and I have 10 years of expertise in bringing teams together to achieve a common goal. Whether we're chasing commercial performance, or raising the bar of expectations for business accountability towards a circular economy, I'm your girl to get the job done.

Why I think I'd be great at this role:

• I've been a passionate Bulb evangelist and customer for five years and know the product inside and out.

• I've launched dozens of products for early stage startups and global giants across US, EU, and APAC markets, including a self-led initiative on corporate reputation and risk as a public company.

• I've built a reputation at Deliveroo as a go-to person to launch the most strategic initiatives including our Enterprise white label proposition and a dine-in fulfilment channel that required collaborating with UK Government stakeholders to support restaurants in receiving subsidies from the Eat Out to Help Out scheme.

• In Summer 2020, I completed a certificate course in Sustainable Business Management from Cambridge University - Institute of Sustainable Leadership where I deepened my knowledge of climate policy, and the role of NGOs, government, and private sectors working together to make change. I passed with distinction, and turned my final paper into the foundations of Deliveroo's global sustainability platform (launching soon).

• In Spring 2021, I became certified by B Lab Europe to support businesses (like Bulb) in their B Corp journey. I'm currently consulting four startups on their B Corp process as a passion project.
